Tomorrow, everyone goes to Gracia !

One of Barcelona’s biggest festivals is about to start tomorrow. The festa de Gracia is a one week party which transforms the streets of Gracia into a wonderful and colourful neighbourhood where it feels good to have a meal, a drink or a dance. The spirit of the former village fully comes out during this event, which is supposed to celebrate the assumption of the Virgin Mary, or Sant Roc.

This year’s edition is dedicated to Nova canço, the anti-Franco musical movement born in Catalunya in the 50’s. You can find a programme of events here.
