Hallowe'en at Casamona!!

The spooky season is upon us and the frightening festivities are well under way at the Casamona Barcelona office! Kim and Annabel expertly carved a pumpkin to make a Jack-o-lantern for the office, to ward off all the evil spirits. The boys had great fun dressing up and parading their costumes around the office, with Tom dressed as a Nun, Anthony a pirate, Andy an Indian and Chris as Death we all got quite a fright. Luckily, Nicolas gave them treats in return for their tricks and sent them back to work. A fun filled afternoon for all at Casamona, capped off with our weekly dose of "Friday Wine". Spain is the Most Popular Property Search in the UK

As Globaledge reports, more people in the UK search for properties in Spain than any other place in the world. The report is based off of data that tallies the amount of hits on search engines within the country. France is the runner-up but still nowhere near the over 10% that Spain generated in property related searches.

As the report suggests, there is a considerable amount of interest in many different areas of Spain, not just one or two hotspots.

"Searches for Spain and regions and towns within it dominate the results. Five out of the top ten most popular locations are Spanish and the top 103 locations are dotted with Spanish towns and coastal names. If you sell overseas property in Spain, it maybe worth sourcing partners in these places if you haven’t already.

Although the obvious locations of Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol are the most popular Spanish regions, the popularity of the Canary Islands is perhaps the most interesting finding.
